Pink Eye for the win...

Welp, this is almost the last one!

It`s been a roller Coaster!

Can`t believe it.  We had a good week. We found an hermane through some Less actives. it was cool because she came to church too!  We'll be putting a date down this week with her!

Today was fun. We went to Casa Blanca. it`s like a resort on the beach. Super ritzy.  We just hung out on the beach and drank some super good Jugo de Coco.. Coconut Juice..  Other news..   Got pink eye this week.. Super dumb!  We went on exchanges and I slept on a mattress without sheets.  Idk if it was from the mattress or not, but all I know is that I woke up and had pink eye on my right eye.. Way dumb.. But it`s getting better.  I also have to take a parasite test before I finish the mission, soo I'll be letting y'all know how many parasites I got..  Elder Moody has one and Elder Ericksen has 2.. so I definitely have at least one... haha

Welp have a great week, next week is my last one, it`s gonna be a good one!

Welp, Last Zone Conference is Over

Hey

Welp, there it is. My last Zone Conference is over. Really crazy!  Felt the Spirit a lot there. I took some time to reflect and remembered my first zone conference in October of 2016.  That seems like forever ago, and then again, not too long ago.  It´s crazy how fast these 2 years have gone by. I really enjoy this time I have here, even though its stressful at times and some people don't cooperate as we would like, I know that the Lord directs the work.
In my zone, there are 3 of us who started together and now are ending together. It´s been so fun to be with Elder Ericksen and Elder Moody here in the Coast. We´ve had some legendary moments here in the mission, starting in the CCM.  It was nice to share our last testimonies together this zone conference.
On Thursday I had my last interview with President Murphy. That also was a really good experience. He has really helped me a lot and it's a little bit sad to end. He gave me a lot of good advice for my studies. That got me a little bit more excited for that.

Well, the week all in all was a good one. We actually found a lot this week. That was a nice lil treat. I feel like all our hard work paid off this week on the finding aspects. We are still having trouble with people progressing towards baptism, but I still have the faith that we will see some milagritos in the future.
Well, thanks everyone for the support and for the prayers, they are all appreciated.  I'm excited for 3 more weeks of full time service to the Lord.

Birthday and 4th of July

What a week!, well actually not really..

Just another great week in the work of the Lord!

We had a good week this week.

Bday and July 4th was pretty much normal for Ecuador. My comp actually got sick so we didn't do anything cool those nights. I made myself pancakes and on the 4th I bought ice cream and coke and made myself a Coke Float.. It´s not root beer, but it´s all I had to work with..
It´s  a little bit weird, it´s kind of hitting me that it´s all over. I finish in a month. to be honest I'm not trying to think about it too much. I´m going to miss this place. I´ve met a ton of people that I´m not going to see again. It´s kind of a sad thing to think about. A good buddy of mine who finished his mission like last week wrote me saying, stay concentrated, because when it´s over, it´s over. It´s true.

I´m excited for this week. We will be having Zone Conference, my last one! Also my last interview with Pres. Murphy. I´m excited to speak with him and to receive some good advice from him.

As for this week, it was filled with contacting. We are trying to think of something new to do here because what we are doing, even though it may be good, isn´t the best. We can find better ways to find new investigators. Being here in the mission has really helped me to open up my mind a little more and think and try new things.

Yesterday I was thinking to myself, man I need a miracle before I finish. Our last investigator with date fell.  Then I realized, that He isn´t the last. He would be my last baptism, but not the last of the ward.  I realized that miracles exist, but not that way we expect sometimes. Everyone would love to finish their mission with a baptism, but in the end, the work continues on.   The miracle is that someone enter into the baptismal waters in their own due time.   They aren't my baptisms, but rather souls who are making covenants with their Father in Heaven to change and follow Christ. I know that this week we will see miracles. If I don´t baptize again before I leave, I won´t be upset:  A successful missionary is one who does everything to fulfill His purpose and bring others unto Christ. I love this work.. I know this is the true church! The Book of Mormon is true!

Have a great week!
